Public submissions
The Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry called for public submissions addressing issues raised by the 2010/2011 floods. Please note public submissions to the Commission of Inquiry have closed.
Written submissions relating to issues of flood preparedness relevant to the 2011/2012 wet season (particularly dam operations, early warning systems and responses) closed on 11 March 2011.
Submissions addressing other matters in the Inquiry’s terms of reference closed on 4 April 2011.
The Commission called for further public submissions addressing the performance of private insurers in meeting their claims responsibilities. Additional submissions about the performance of insurers closed on 15 June 2011.
The Commission advised on 5 March 2012 that all submissions were closed.
